I’m Kate, the creator and heart behind The French Heart — a small handmade studio nestled in the United States with a soul firmly rooted in the romance of France.

My love affair with all things French began long ago, inspired by the beauty of vintage Parisian imagery, antique ephemera, and the timeless elegance of French art and culture. What started as a personal passion for collage and altered art slowly blossomed into something I couldn’t keep to myself.

What We Create

Every piece at The French Heart is designed and handcrafted with love in our studio. From our signature decoupaged glassine bags — each one a tiny translucent work of art — to our deluxe ephemera folios, handmade junk journals, sublimated tumblers and mugs, and French-inspired stationery, everything we make is infused with vintage romance and Parisian charm.

Our glassine bags are an original creation, and our designs are exclusive to The French Heart. We take great pride in the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into every single piece.

Everything here is made to order — which means your order is created just for you. We work Monday through Friday and ship via USPS First Class Mail, carefully packaging each order so that your pretties arrive safely and beautifully.
